Salary: $19–$23/hour – Based on experience

Requirements

Mannon Metal Works LLC is seeking a skilled Welder to support fabrication and repair operations focused on farm equipment, excavator buckets, and other heavy-duty components. This is a hands-on, full-time role in both shop and field environments, working alongside seasoned tradesmen committed to quality craftsmanship.

Welder Helper ($16 - $18/hr)
Assists welders with preparation, material handling, and maintenance tasks.
Welder ($19 - $23/hr)
Performs welding tasks on various equipment, ensuring quality and safety.

Conducts on-site welding, often in varying conditions, requiring adaptability.
Fitter Apprentice ($22 - $26/hr)

Breaks down customer projects into costed estimates for material, labor, and overhead.
Accounts Payable / Receivable Clerk ($18 - $23/hr)
Manages billing, payment tracking, and coordination with vendors and customers.

     3. AWS D17.1 Aerospace Welding Certification

     4. ASME Section IX Pipe Welding Certification

Eligibility for Certification Assistance
     • Must be employed with Mannon Metal Works for at least 6 months.
     • Must demonstrate proficiency in welding techniques related to the certification.
     • Must commit to remaining with the company for at least one year after receiving certification.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
  • Weld components using MIG and Stick (TIG a plus) per design specs
  • Read and interpret fabrication blueprints and drawings
  • Measure, cut, prep, and assemble metal parts
  • Operate fabrication tools including saws, grinders, torches, and drills
  • Inspect welds for quality and accuracy
  • Perform basic maintenance on equipment
  • Maintain clean and organized workstations
  • Assist with field welding tasks if needed
  • Follow all safety procedures and use PPE at all times
Qualifications & Skills
  • 1+ years of welding experience preferred
  • Proficiency in MIG and Stick welding (TIG is a bonus)
  • Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols
  • Experience with grinders, saws, clamps, and layout tools
  • Reliable transportation to the shop and/or field sites
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Attention to detail and focus on precision
Work Environment
  • Indoor and outdoor job sites including workshops and farm locations
  • Exposure to hot, noisy, and dusty environments with heavy machinery
  • Regular lifting, bending, climbing, and standing required
  • Occasional field travel for on-site welding work
